Personally I started designing web sites because I knew I could do it but I started like most people do. I had to do everything myself and there was very little money to do it with. As my business grew over time some of my sites were just to simple to do what I wanted them to do so I hired a web page designer to create a totally new site for me. Of course that was after I made enough money to be able to afford it.Professional web site design was still very expensive, I used to get $500.00 an hour for designing simple sites because no one could do it very well. While this may sound familiar to some of you who have been around the net for a few years this is still the one place you can start your own business with no money and not having to hire anyone to do anything for you. You don't need a professional web site designer to do it for you. That's if you have the time, will power and drive to do it. If you have it, go for it as you can still make a ton of money on the net. There's a lot more to hiring a web page designer than just hiring them to do something you don't want to do. Why bother to hire anyone if you are just trying to get out of doing something you don't like to do. It's just going to cost you money for something you could have done yourself. However if you can hire someone for less than it will cost you to do it yourself go ahead. That only makes sense. If you are making a hundred bucks an hour on the net there is no sense of you doing something you can hire done for ten bucks an hour. You may have to keep at the page designers to get it done the way you want it tho.
When you do hire a web site or page designer to do a job for you make sure you are doing more than just hiring them to do a job you don't want to do. The benefits of hiring a designers are you can let that person worry about all the little things that come up halfway through a site design that you never thought about until then. There is always something! Hiring someone to do it for you does give you more time to spend on your actual business marketing and strategy. Whatever site designer you hire should be professionals so they should be good at what they do and be Remember, the work you hire done should be better than you can do yourself because the people doing the web page design work have been doing it longer than you have. They do it for a living so they have to be pretty good to have customers. Always ask for references and some sites they've done so you can see samples of their work. You can get professional web site design done cheaply if you spend a bit of time looking around the web.
