definition of guru and super affiliate gurus

Yet another rant about guru types in general, super affiliate guru's and a definition of guru.

According to dictionary. com the following is how they describe anyone as a guru.

    1. Hinduism. a preceptor giving personal religious instruction.
    2. an intellectual or spiritual guide or leader.
    3. any person who counsels or advises; mentor: The elder senator was her political guru.
    4. a leader in a particular field: the city's cultural gurus.

There are lots of different types of gurus on the net. Most aren't worth a damn and have a highly undeserved reputation. Heh, I'm more of a guru than most of them. Like them, I want to make some money but unlike them money isn't my first priority.

There are marketing gurus, MOF an seo web guru is what people used to think I was. Among other things I could also be a super affiliate guru if I wished to be.

Unfortunately for me I'm more interested in telling you what I know as truth rather than scamming you to make a few bucks. I've always been this way. I know most of you won't do what I suggest anyway because it takes work so I'm not afraid to tell you exactly how I do things, and even do it for free.

You may have noticed or even been surprised by the fact that I don't collect people emails. Hmmm, you suppose maybe it's because I don't care about sending you spam emails 7 days a week about other peoples products and how much I recommend them.

I suppose I'm stupid for that and I know I'm missing out on a lot of money because I don't do that. Lol, I was told in late 1998 I should have my own newsletter so I could get people to signup for things I was promoting. No thanks, I do just fine with generic SE traffic.

Another reason I don't charge anything, like for a couple of the previous pages on here that I thought about charging for, is that I do this for fun. Money is a way to keep score but I really love the challenge of doing new things and figuring out new things. That's more fun to me than making money from you guys.

For instance, I use nichebot and Mike Liebners article marketing, extensively. Yes, if you go sign up there I'LL make from a few pennies to a few bucks. I highly recommend them because I use them on an almost daily basis and I know they work.

Most gurus don't give a damn about anything but making money. That's why you get all the spam emails from all of them recommending the same products. I've been deleting myself from their mailing lists for a couple of weeks now. Tell me something new, don't try to sell me some old crap you've never used.

If I ever do start a newsletter it will probably come only when I have something relevant to say or find something that I didn't have that I started using and recommend it.

All I can tell you is find a SE, Marketing, Website design and Linking guru that you trust and then don't go signing up with anyone else. Read what they have written and use it. Figure out your own system and work it. Now days a seo guru can be bought for a dime, same with the rest of the guru's put there who aren't really guru's but are more like quick buck scam artists.

In a way I hesitate to mention this because it's my adult blog. However if you are interested in learning more about how I do things and what I know works you can see it at ask mr porn dot com/wmh/wwwboard/index.php. Obviously it's all one word but I separated it so the SE won't penalize me for linking to a bad neighborhood.

I put it up because of some things I learned about deep links and I use it for deep linking to my pages that aren't the front page. It's hard to get a directory to link to anything but your home page and this is my solution for that. No popups, no porn pics, just good solid advice. Got a question, go there and ask. Someone will for sure answer it. It's for normal sites too, not just adult.
