Wow, having the republicans in control is great for poor people.

Isn't it wonderful what the republicans have done for the country. I actually consider it quite amazing the great job they've done. It just doesn't get any better than this, particularly for the poor and lower income people.

First off it's so nice to see them spending money. When the republicans came to power there was a budget surplus. The republicans spent all of that money on programs and now we have a deficit which means they borrowed even more money to spend on their favorite programs. I'm quite sure the poor people of this nation thank them for that.

Look at the employment figures. Employment is pretty high and unemployment is pretty low. Of course this may have something to do with the republicans statrting a war for phony reasons and lying to the nation about it.

But hey, look at it this way, for ever serviceman called up someone had to be hired to replace them while they were serving in the phony war. Look at all of the people who got jobs manufactring planes, tanks, humvees, etc. Great for the unemployment rate. Almost everyone who wants a job has one or can find one.

Don't forget about all of the big companies like Haliburton who are getting rich providing supplies and services for the war. They also provide jobs for thousands and thousands of people wordwide. Life just doesn't get any better than that as Haliburtons profit and loss sheet shows.

Then there's also the fact that more and more poor people are going to be able to afford housing. For the first time in history the average price of a new home is falling. Isn't it just so great that they've managed to do this in just 7 short years.

Just think, those poor or low income people are now going to be able to afford great housing because the prices are falling so far. Lige just doesn't get any better than that for the lower income people either.

Thank you republicans for the great job you've done running the country. It really makes me proud.
