Sheesh, at least three things have pissed me off in the last 10 minutes. Pants, soap and marketers.
So now places are passing laws against having baggy and or saggy pants. Seems to me that we already have anti nudity laws on the books everywhere. So the kids doing this aren't breaking any laws but they sure are pissing off adults.
Worse yet the adults are to stupid to understand that the more they bitch about it the more the kids do it. Lol, even worse yet they are forgeting when they were that age.
Lets take a little trip to yesteryear. For the people as old as I am remember when the first issue of Playboy came out. Huge big deal at the time. Now it's tame.
Remember when Rock and Roll was the work of the devil? So what did you do when you were a kid but listen to rock and roll? It pissed adults off so you listened to it.
The next big sin was jeans. Only "hoods" wore jeans. First off what's a "hood"? Well, back then it was a kid who probably smoked cigarettes, drank beer and loved fast cars. Also did lots of things to piss adults off. You know, the kid who is leading the other kids down the wrong path. Not a nice person but a trouble maker.
Jeans weren't the everyday thing they are now. Everyone wore slacks or khackis. Some of you may have remember when 95% of the places you went we "No jeans allowed". ROTF, if you read my drivel then you already know I had the first or second pair of jeans in town.
Adults just hated jeans. I couldn't wear mine to school. Heh, remember when teachers wore suits and dresses to work. Seems like they got more respect from kids then than they do now but that's a different rant. Heh, I was the first person to wear jeans to church. I was politely asked to leave. Seems God didn't like people wearing jeans either.
Then came heavy metal. Lol, I never listened to it because I didn't like it but by then I was an adult. All the adults freaked out. The devils music. Man, the devils got a lot of music. BTW, I now listen to a little heavy metal but much prefer Beyonce or Rhianna or Pink.
Then I don't remember what came next. Goth or piercings. No matter, to adults both were bad. Heh, I shouldn't even have to mention Rap. More devil's music. Tatoo's were also taboo.
Now the uproar over all of these things certainly reminds me of the wearing your pants to low, uproar we have now. Funny how adults want to pass laws against things that don't hurt anyone just because it irritates adults.
It's a fashion issue. It's a, kids irritating adults thing, and doing it on purpose now that they know it really irritates the hell out of adults.
Hey, all you supposed adults. GET OVER IT! You are being stupid and in a battle you can't win. Can't ya just see it now. County jails so full of people for wearing their pants to low that there isn't room to put the people breaking the really bad laws like smoking weed. ROTF.
Stupidity at it's finest. Ya just gotta love this country.
